AB:
Thanks for the kind words and especially for the grammar advice.

Wreck:
The advice you offer is good because then you'll clear your head and feel like you can accomplish anything. What I'm recommending is that you get rid of the unpleasant tasks (as much as possible) so all you have is pleasant ones. Then you'll feel great doing the tasks and also when you're accomplishing them.

I do things a bit differently. The best advice I ever got on getting things done starts they way you start, list the things you don't want to do. Then put those at the top of your list. Work down the list doing the things you least like to do first. That way you feel a great deal of accomplishment for getting those tasks out of the way and you end up with things to do that you want to do. This the work goes faster as you go along.

Good ideas! I like your thinking and I think your example with the dishes is terrific. But for the love of all things holy, please learn some grammar!

Take, for example, these sentences: "Do less dishes: Eat out/Order in. The goal is to eat- not to cook. If you don’t cook, there’s no dishes."

should read:

"Do FEWER dishes: Eat out/Order in. The goal is to eat- not to cook. If you don’t cook, THERE ARE no dishes."

Thank you. Though you'd solve the dishes problem at my house -- if my teeth are permanently gritted together, I can't eat, so I'll certainly dirty fewer dishes!
