I like the way your thinking- fundamentals should be simple. My three fundamentals of success are:

1. Think- Think about what you want to do (clarity) and the best way to do it.
2. Do- Doing the task (boldness) and doing it right (process).
3. Enjoy- Enjoying what your doing

The 2time fundamentals are habits of "time management"- actually we would call it "processing". As you break down each of our 3 fundamentals you'll need a recipe for achieving each one. The 2time habits is a recipe to get started.

After we master "processing" we wont need to break it down. Just like once you master walking there's no need to break that down.

I think these fundamentals of time management are still leading you down the path of tying you down into a system and when you have 7 + more things on a fundamental list, you are maybe not down to the basics.

The basics of time management:

1. Clarity - Knowing what is important to you, what you want and where you are going.

2. Process - The simple process you use to manage and capture and to decide what to do when.

3. Boldness - The art of actually doing it.
